A camphoraceous scent is one that’s similar to camphor; a strongly aromatic, almost medicinal scent. Camphoraceous essential oils include eucalyptus, frankincense, hyssop, marjoram, rosemary, sage and, of course, camphor.
One example of a camphoraceous oil, would be, Eucalyptus Globulus, our most popular scent in this category. However, “Camphoraceous” though, is a, sharp, slightly medicinal smell you notice when you inhale these essential oils that some Aromatherapists refer to as, “piney".
